The journey from beginner to black belt in martial arts is an incredible achievement. It’s all about dedication, discipline, and not giving up. At Brisbane Martial Arts, we’re super excited to celebrate our new black belts. 🎉🥋
Starting out as a beginner is always fun and a bit scary. You learn the basics like stances and strikes, and how to balance and move. It’s tough, but every class makes you better and stronger.
As you move up the ranks, things get harder. There are bumps along the way, like getting hurt or feeling stuck. But that’s when true martial artists shine! Pushing through these challenges makes you stronger, not just in your body but in your mind too.
Getting a black belt is HUGE! 🏅 It shows you’ve worked really hard for years. It’s not just about being good at kicks and punches. It’s also about showing respect, being humble, and never giving up. Our new black belts at Brisbane Martial Arts show all these great qualities. They inspire everyone around them!
A special shoutout to Bella Cassar, one of our newest black belts! 🎊 Bella’s journey is super inspiring. Her hard work and dedication are amazing. Want to know more about Bella’s awesome story? Read more…
Remember, getting a black belt is just the beginning. There’s always more to learn and new ways to grow. As we cheer for our new black belts, we know they’re just starting their exciting journey. The sky’s the limit for them and for anyone who starts their martial arts adventure with Brisbane Martial Arts! 🚀
So, whether you’re just starting out or you’re already on your way, keep going! This is a reminder that the journey in martial arts is ongoing. The black belt is not an endpoint but a new beginning, a launchpad for continued learning and personal development. As we honor our new black belts, we also recognize the endless possibilities that lie ahead for them and for all who embark on the martial arts journey.🥋🌟

I use discipline to control my body and my thoughts.
Our students completed an activity where they wrote about a time they showed CONFIDENCE. Here are some amazing examples🌟💪
See how our students showed CONFIDENCE outside the dojo:
🎉Congratulations Oliver!
“I have shown confidence at school/work by sitting quietly and patiently at assembly.” – Oliver (age 8)
NEXT MONTH: Discipline
How are you going to live self-discipline next month outside the dojo?
Previously students have said:
– I have shown discipline at home by getting the washing done in the morning on the weekend before taking time out to relax. – Teale
– I have shown discipline at home by waiting without interrupting – Jaya (age 6)
– I have shown discipline at home by helping around the house – Hemaani (age 11)
For the next month, we challenge you to show DISCIPLINE in your daily life. Share your stories with us, and you could be featured in the next newsletter!
