An After School Program That Is More Than Just Fun & Games!
Many families are very busy, and one way that Focus Martial Arts is helping Mansfield, Brisbane families is by providing an alternative to OHSC, with our after school pickup service.
This convenient after school pickup service has become so popular, that we now have 4 vehicles to meet the growing demand – and we STILL have some days fully booked with a wait list.
How Our After School Pickup Service Works!
Students are booked in on First Come, First Served basis. We do get booked out quickly – so register early to get your preferred days.
EVERY student must Re-register EVERY school term – as we know many families plans do change. So book in at the end of the previous school term, for your next school term
Rules For Students To Adhere To

Students MUST meet at the designated FMA pickup area for your school

Students MUST be on-time to the pickup area (no playing on the way to the pickup zone
- Students will do their scheduled martial arts class

Students can do homework, read a book, use the FREE wifi before or after their martial arts class - if they have free time until their parents collect them.
- Students MUST wait inside the dojo - until the parent comes in to collect them.
Students are expected (and taught if young) to put ALL their school clothing & items inside their school bag. AND to keep their school bag in the lockers and NOT on the floor.
Terms & Conditions For Parents

CRITICAL: Parents MUST notify FMA staff via TEXT ONLY on 0403022650 if your child does not require the pre-booked pickup for that day (due to illness, holidays, pupil free day, went home sick) - otherwise our staff are looking everywhere for them! Please be respectful of their time & stress levels.

It is RECOMMENDED to pack an AFTER SCHOOL SNACK (TIP: label it 'martial arts snack').
- Students will do their scheduled martial arts class.

Students can do homework, read a book, use the FREE wifi before or after their martial arts class - if they have free time until their parents collect them.

Students MUST wait inside the dojo - until the parent comes in to collect them.
- Parents must book each term - bookings do not roll over. ALL bookings for the previous month will be cancelled - to enable ALL students to book again - register early to get your preferred pickup days.
PLEASE: Always call our team if your child DOES NOT REQUIRE SCHOOL PICKUP that day – because they are sick or went home sick, or if you go on holidays or pupil free day. Otherwise, our team will be looking everywhere for them!
How School Pickup Fees Work
- Fees: $6 per person per pickup booked for the school term (eg. if the school term is 10 weeks & 2 pickups per week = $120 )

Fees are payable in advance for the school term.
- No refunds are given for cancellations, sick, lockdowns, holidays. (however, we can do a pickup for a makeup class if there is space available in the vehicle that day)
- Citipointe Year 1 & Prep are $8 per pickup booked for the school term (eg. if the school term is 10 weeks & 2 pickups per week = $120 ) & will be collected from those classrooms

No other classrooms from any school can be collected from - it MUST be from that school's designated FMA pickup zone
- Casual Pickup or school vacation care pickup now require a payment of $12 and must be reserved and paid for via phone.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: ALL bookings are cancelled at the end of each school term. Book in the last week of the previous term, for the next term – to make sure you get your preferred school pickup days. Many families plans change and this is the most efficient way of handling all those changes.
